What is Weightlifting?

Weightlifting revolves around developing the strength and skill to proficiently perform the two Olympic Weightlifting lifts: the Snatch and the Clean & Jerk.

Premium PT hosts several Club Competitions throughout the year.

How do I join?

Sign up here to our base level Weightlifting Membership. We will provide a daily program to follow. You can train anytime, 7 Days a Week.

If you want Coaching, please contact Australian Weightlifting Federation Level 3 Coach, Jo Flesfadar who can provide personal weightlifting programs and small group coaching in Premium PT.

I want to test my lifts, what can I do?

Become a SAWLA member! https://states.awf.com.au/SA/JOIN

The South Australian Weightlifting Association holds monthly Club Competitions. All athletes from beginners through to competitive athletes who wish to go further or test their lifts are welcomed. If you have done well, you can compete in the SAWLA State Competitions usually held in September. An elite performance will lead to Nationals and possible International selection.

What equipment do I need for Weightlifting training?

We recommend you buy Olympic Lifting shoes. For keen lifters you may choose to also buy knee sleeves, a belt, competition suit and wrist wraps etc. The WOD Life have all these items. Use our PREMIUMPT code for all orders over $100 for an extra $10 off!
